It’s been real quiet here. I took a chunk of time away from all the things even though I had planned on doing all the things. I talked about it with my lovely patrons over on Patreon in January. You might have noticed the new link at the top for a portfolio page. Everything on that page is what I have been up to in the last month or so. You’ll also notice that you can purchase said things. I’m in the process of getting ready for FanExpo Dallas in June and have a new set of enamel pins that I need to get funded. This is one of the ways I am gathering those funds.
I’m still working out if it’s better to have a pre-sale or go through Kickstarter again for some of the funding as well. I’m always hesitant about using Kickstarter because it’s an all or nothing deal. I did use Kickstarter for the first set of pins and it successfully funded, but I purposefully set the goal lower than I actually needed for the complete set because I wasn’t sure my idea of a cosplaying llama enamel pin would be popular. The funds I gained from Kickstarter ended up covering roughly half the cost of the original set. I’m not sure if running a pre-sale is any better but it’s something to look into. In the meantime, I have the portfolio page.

I really have been enjoying myself over the past two months with all the art exploration. I haven’t settled on any one medium but have been combining several of them to see what happens. I’ve picked up several new bottles of ink I am looking forward to sharing here and using. But that’s for another post.
