For the last few days I’ve been sorting and out how I want to document the coming year with journals and planners which naturally had me looking at my fountain pens.
These are the pens I decided to start 2026 with. Three of the pens I acquired in the last few months of 2025 – Jinhao 20, Pelikan m205, and the Jinhao 82. (Yes, I realize I misspelled Jinhao in the writing sample.) The only pen I’m not sure will remain in the line up for January is the Jinhao 20 – it has some hard start/skip issues which might be due to the way I hold it. I’ll figure it out over time.
