Ramblings – Page 7 – Loose Endings Studio

After some deliberation and conversations with some folks, I have made the decision to let the domain room7609.net lapse in April of 2024. At the same time I have purchased a new domain LooseEndingsStudio.com to take its place. You will see minor changes such as the title and tagline of the site move away from room7609.

Room7609.net will continue to work until it expires. It will (should) automatically redirect to the new domain name.

It may seem odd given that I just “restarted” several months ago with a new introduction. to the blog realm as it were. The change truly should have happened a long time ago but I was resistant to letting go of something that no longer worked for me.

For those of you that are following me through wordpress.com or the email-list I don’t think this change will affect you. If this turns out to be incorrect please let me know. This notice is primarily for those that might have simple added the site to their quick link bar.

It’s been a hot minute and while I could write paragraphs I’m just going to share some pictures. Some of them might actually be from the very end of June.

In no particular order because I can’t be bothered – I spent about a week in Florida visiting some amusement parks. Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Universal (The Wizarding World). My favorite park – Hollywood Studios because… Galaxy’s Edge. I brought a lot of loot home. Attended a concert as a disco ball. Received some amazing vintage pens for my birthday and am currently trying to suss out who made one of them. I also finished some little monsters for a friend that is expecting an addition to his family in August.

And that’s about it for July. Up next : Finishing a UFO. A pen/ink storage post of sorts; and perhaps some new fiction.
